My journey

Lenaig jeune-athlete

Athlete

From the age of 6, I attended the Ploumilliau Athletics School. As a child, I was very shy but sport quickly became a way to express myself, to let off steam and have fun. I competed for 14 years with the TGA then the Lannion Athlétisme club where my speciality was the Heptathlon (100m hurdles, high jump, shot put, 200m, long jump, javelin, 800m). My favorite discipline was 100m hurdles, combining speed and technique.

- 2009: Began my studies at the University of Rennes at the age of 20. Despite my father being a rugby coach, my adventure with the oval ball came about somewhat by chance. Along with basketball, handball and volleyball, rugby was part of the university sports programme, but it was the only sport I could take up because it corresponded to the free slots in my study timetable. So, that is how my rugby adventure began at Rennes University with Yann Moison.

- 2010: Spent 1 year in Australia trying my hand at Aussie Rugby with Burnside Rugby Union, Adelaide

- 2011: Back in France, I joined the elite level club, Stade Rennais Rugby. My progression at the club led to my first international cap with France in 2012.

- 2018: Decided to leave Rennes for professional reasons, to sign with Stade Français in Paris.

Rugby in England

After ending my international career in June 2022. I decided to live a new sporting and professional challenge in one of the best leagues in the world: England! A new challenge to get out of my comfort zone, to become bilingual in English, to open up to the Anglo-Saxon vision and of course to continue performing at a very high level.

I started a month and a half with the London Wasps club in September 2022, but following its financial liquidation I had to leave Wasps. Despite the many difficulties I encountered, I decided to continue my adventure in the English Premiership with the London Harlequins club.
